No... Late updates again? Way to go, Gabriela.
Ok,
so I'm doing these little paperclay figures; mostly sweets, and cakes,
and girly things like that and I've been thinking about selling them.
I've made some straphones, keychains, earings and other similar things.
My question(s) is/are: Would you buy things like this? Well, most of my
followers are men, but perhaps for your girlfriends or moms. Huh? How
much would you pay for these? Would you like to see more things like
this? Am I asking too many questions? ANSWER ME!!
I'm not a man, and yes, I would buy them. They are adorable and you are so creative.

They look delicious.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who sells pretty things to people, it depends on how you market them. If I go purely on the picture it looks like it could be $1, but if you mention you can only make 20 an hour or something like that, the price could go on or around $3. Dependsss
Hmm, they're inedible, right? Not sure I'd want something sitting around that looks like something I could eat, but can't. However, this does not mean they're a bad idea, as I know quite a few people who would be all over these.
ReplyDeletemmm tiny cupcakes...
ReplyDeleteunfortunately I'm between girlfriends at the moment, and my mom is dead, so I have no idea how I could help you with your marketing :)
I think you could sell them at craft fairs or a farmers' market. Farmers' markets sometimes have crafts. I would ask about $5 for them in a large city. You probably wouldn't get that much in a small market. You also have to take into consideration how much they cost to make. You don't want to lose money on selling them. Or maybe you could check some shops that sell cute little things and ask if someone would be willing to stock them. I really they they're cute.

If you add to them some hallucinogen, I'd buy them! :P
ReplyDeleteI like them.
ReplyDeletemake a load for xmas, alot of people are planning to buy local made artisan products this year instead of the normal "made in china" junk.
ReplyDeletemany of mine presents will be homemade jam this year!
If you put them a little chain maybe to decorate the phone of my sister, 3€ max
ReplyDeleteDo not buy, but were very well done!
ReplyDeleteAs a girl, i would say they would definitely sell out! They are cute! :D
ReplyDeleteIt looks pretty cool, although I think I would more likely to eat them, they look delicious as well. :P
ReplyDeleteLove the blog and love the cakes. Will you be posting new cakes? If so I shall be back every day :)
ReplyDeleteThey do look awesomely delicious! But unfortunately my family aren't exactly the type to collect these sort of things... and I haven't had a girlfriend in awhile. But good luck with them, there should definitely be a market for them.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't buy them because I'd probably accidentally try and eat them one day. Or maybe someone in my family would.
ReplyDeleteYou could go on Etsy and see what other people are charging and maybe even set up you own account. I think that be better than asking your followers. :P
I would probably buy them at a whim and give them to Suika, so she could have something to eat while drunk.
ReplyDeleteI could eat about 200 of those things....i love cup cakes
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't buy them, but I know a lot of chickies that would if they were reasonably priced.
