Hello! This time I'm going to share some slips I've drawn for FanGamer.
FanGamer
is a very cool online store that sells all kinds of videogame related
stuff; from T-shirts to mugs, to pins, to wooden dolls (I'd love to
order the whole store for myself!), and each time you receive a package
from them you also receive a hand-drawn picture based on the videogame
related to your order, which can be Zelda, Metroid, Chrono Trigger,
Earthbound, etc.
But, since the volume of orders they
receive greatly exceeds the amount of drawings they can make, they have a
special program called "Swag for Slips", in which they send you a
hundred or more slips to draw and, after you draw them and send them
back, you receive an in-store credit proportional to the amount of
drawings you made. I entered this program, of course, and here are some
of the Zelda-based slips I've drawn.
Link and Zelda look like if they had leukemia, Ganondorf looks like
an everyday pimp and chibi Zelda is cute! But anyway, I still have 260
slips to go. Later!
By the way, be sure to check out the FanGamer store in here.
So... yeah. I completely forgot I had to draw something for today because I was busy playing Catherine, haha. But that's the perfect excuse to upload some handcrafts.
I made this plushie with felt, and "cuerina" (I think it would be something like "fake leather" in english). You can sit him and take his boots off. As you can see, it's not finished; I have yet to make the belt buckle and, maybe, a sword and shield.
The most difficult things to do were the boots (because I had no idea how to sew the cuerina and I broke some needles. haha) and the hat. I think it looks cute... even though some people say it looks gay. hah
I'll be uploading more handcrafts in the future, as long as I'm not overcome by laziness, hah.
See ya!

So... yeah.
Guess what? Earlier today, Valve released the free DLC of Portal 2! More coop levels and leaderboards. I just needed an excuse to replay the game because I already fully cleared it and, even though the game is perfect, I'm a little lazy when it comes to replaying games that I already finished.
So yeah... I made this to commemorate this day! Hahah Nah... basically, I made it because my boyfriend and I love this game and the coop was too much fun. I use Atlas and he uses P-body... I wanted to use P-body, though (and he wanted to use Atlas) but, for some reason, the designated character is selected at random and you're not given the option to re-select.
This was a collaboration, by the way! He helped me with the animation and the Photoshop mumbo jumbo... that's why it looks awesome!
So, I was looking at the artwork of Metroid for the NES/Famicom the other day, and I couldn't help but draw some chibi Samus. The japanese manual is awesome, as well!
In my mind, it had much better colors, and a better harmony, but it didn't come out as expected. Color palettes are like rocket science for me. Hahah.
Speaking of minisamus, I remembered this fangame called Minitroid, which is really awesome. It takes the old school Metroid games we all know but with a chibi Samus instead. Awesome? Awesome.
The demo is free, so you should definitely give it a try (the download link is in the video)
Sorry for the late update... but I couldn't find the pencil of my tablet (It's true!).
